By downloading, accessing, or using Northly, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Northly is an AI-powered relationship coaching application that provides:
- Conversational guidance on dating and relationships
- Message analysis and interpretation
- Strategic advice for relationship situations
- Voice-based coaching (premium feature)

Northly is not a substitute for professional help.
- Northly provides AI-generated advice for general informational purposes only
- We are not licensed therapists, counselors, or mental health professionals
- Our advice should not be considered professional therapy or counseling

- In emergencies, contact local emergency services or crisis hotlines
You acknowledge that AI-generated responses may not always be accurate or appropriate for your specific situation.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old to use Northly. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
5. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account
- You may not share your account with others
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
6. Subscription Terms
Free Tier
- 5 messages per day
- Basic coaching features
Premium Subscription
- Monthly plan: $11.99/month
- Yearly plan: $49.99/year
- Both plans include a 7-day free trial
Billing
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- Free trial converts to paid subscription unless canceled
Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds for partial subscription periods
- Manage subscriptions through your device's App Store or Play Store settings
7. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use Northly to:
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Generate illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Attempt to manipulate or exploit the AI system
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit malware or malicious code
- Attempt to reverse engineer the app
- Use automated systems to access the service
- Share explicit sexual content with minors
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.
8. Content and Intellectual Property
- You retain ownership of the content you submit
- You grant us a license to use your content to provide the service
- Northly and its features are our proprietary property
- You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property
9. Privacy
Your use of Northly is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

- We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of AI responses
- We are not liable for any decisions you make based on our advice
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Northly and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately
- Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect
14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive the right to participate in class actions.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
